Campus & social sports

We provide the University community with opportunities to participate in sporting competitions and recreational activities. 

From beginners and social sport players through to elite athletes, we have sport programs to suit all levels of interest and abilities. These include:

  • regular sporting competitions
  • recreational activities
  • just kicking a ball around with your classmates!

Across our campuses, VU Sport offers free opportunities to get active and make new friends in a comfortable and social environment. There is equipment for a variety of sports to select from, so there is something for everyone! 

Free exercise classes at City Tower

Improve your fitness with our free group exercise sessions for VU students and staff at our City Tower

VU Sport's Team Training program offers small group coaching sessions run by a personal trainer.

Please bring a towel and water bottle with you.

Join a competition

Get a group of friends together and register a team into one of the regular competitions on campus including:

  • basketball
  • futsal
  • netball
  • dodgeball.

Competitions for adults and juniors run weeknights and weekends.
